Native Title

Our Native Title listings cover those firms and lawyers who display particular expertise within the areas of both Native Title and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage. This includes not only issues relating to claims of the existence of native title but also advice and representation in relation to "future acts" as defined under the Native Title Act (1993).

Listings cover leading firms, solicitors and barristers practising within the area and are provided on both a national and state by state basis.

In those situations where only a small vaolume of practitioners in the state can be reasonably said to have displayed the requisite level of expertise within the area of Native Title then stte listings are replaced with national listings.

The below listings and the above commentary is an abridged version of the full report. Full editorial commentary can only be found in the print edition of Doyle's Guide to the Australian Legal Profession.
