Methodology
The key differentiating aspect of Doyle’s Guide’s research is that we do not court or require the participation of firms in our research.
We do not request or accept any form of paid profiling or advertising from law firms, barristers chambers or individual legal professionals. We view this editorial independence as our point of difference from other legal directories.
Doyle’s Guide’s research is principally conducted by way of telephone client and peer interviews. Interviews are typically impromptu and the duration of each interview is determined by the interviewee. All comments during interview are made on a non-attributable basis.
Doyle’s Guide conducts a review of one area of legal practice/specialisation per month. Each review is objectively compiled by way of extensive research and interviews with both consumers and providers of legal services.
As we do not request information from firms or their marketing departments our guide’s consist of entirely of content driven by independent research and not on the back of lengthy corporate profiles provided by cooperating firms. A firm, should it elect to do so, may complete one of our Firm Information Documents however submission of these documents in way affects a firm’s inclusion or ranking within our Guides. |
